^29 (A)Then the king sent and gathered all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. ³⁰ And the king went up to the house of Yahweh and ^(B)all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests and the Levites and all the people, from the greatest to the least; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of Yahweh.

³¹ Then the king ^(C)stood in his place and ^(D)cut a covenant before Yahweh, to walk after Yahweh, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and with all his soul, to do the words of the covenant that were written in this book.
